Propane Prices
We have negotiated an agreement with Paraco Gas for the 2025-26 heating season. Enrollment is open for one month, from June 17, 2025 to July 17, 2025.
Paraco currently serves the upstate New York State counties of Ulster, Delaware, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, Greene, and Columbia.
In order to take advantage of the discounted prices, registered users must:
- Choose their supplier and pay the Community’s annual, non-refundable membership fee of $15.
- Contract with your supplier(s) through the link on our site’s membership page.

All members will be required to be on automatic delivery.
Propane
Returning customers: Once we send acknowledgement to Paraco of your enrollment, they will update your account and send you a confirmation email. Please allow 48 hours before checking your Paraco account to see the changes.
New customers: Once we send acknowledgement of your enrollment, Paraco will call you as soon as possible to arrange credit checks, appliance inspection, and tank installation.
There are two fixed prices:
- $2.54/gallon for accounts using 401 gallons or more.
- $2.94/gallon for accounts using 400 gallons or less.
There is no additional charge for budget billing or 30 day payment, and no discount for prepayment.
There is no delivery charge or rental charge for tanks. There are no ECC or safety fees.
HEAP accounts are accepted.
The term of the contract will begin the date you sign your contract, and end June 30, 2026.

Note that service contracts begin independently of fuel supply contract dates.
Paraco can provide tank monitoring systems at $49.99 per year. Paraco will provide a 10% discount on the installation of equipment and customer-owned tanks.
These prices do not include applicable taxes, and are subject to Paraco Gas terms and conditions.
Propane Tanks
Paraco Gas will only deliver to their own tanks, or those that are owned by the customer and compliant with their safety regulations. If you have another supplier’s tanks you may want to get an estimate for the removal of your current tank from your previous supplier, and to see if they will credit any unused propane. Paraco Gas will replace the other company’s tank with their own, at no cost, unless there is a need for adjustments to the piping or fittings. Paraco Gas will not charge a rental fee for their propane tanks. Once you have Paraco tanks, you can call your previous supplier and have them pick up their tank(s).
